Another Gathering in the books, VenCaf community! This one had all the staples of a great Thursday with the added bonus of Trivia! So let’s get into what you might’ve missed at our Industry Collaboration: Brand Loyalty, Solutions & Climate Change gathering.
To kick things off we had fan favorite and regular of Venture Cafe Christian Johnson bring in some amazing industry experts to try and tackle climate changes from multiple perspectives & industries. We had insight from Lisa Cagle, Director of Innovative Services for Bi-State Development & Jared Opsal, Executive Director of the Missouri Coalition For The Environment, both of these amazing guests spoke about how their ecosystems are looking to take on the challenge that is climate change and how we all can look to creating a better world.
Following them, another popular reoccurring face held her own session. Mary Scott brought people together to learn how they can improv their business, taking them through the obstacles they might face as business owners or entrepreneurs and utilizing improv techniques to help them overcome those challenges.
Next, we were glad to bring Julian Keaton, Founder & Chief Consultant of Julian Jewels along with Quinelle Holder, Founder of Medium Creative Agency together to talk about Brand Loyalty and how collaborative activation specifically can help your brand. Their knowledge and expertise were provided via examples of how small and large activations can accrue the same amount of loyalty and interest in your brand.
Finally, for the first time ever we held VenCaf Trivia which became a heated battle in no time at all. Teammates were yelling over one another, trying to erase answers, and telling US what they thought the answer should be! All in all, I’d say that’s a pretty authentic and true-to-form Trivia experience! The team who won must’ve been prophetic because they aptly named themselves “The Winners” at the start!
That will do it for our VenCaf recap this week ladies and gentlemen! Thank you as always to all speakers and community members who decided to take the time and come out. Industry Collaboration is still in full swing and if you’d like to see what else we are going to offer, feel free to check out the website! We will see you all next week!
