One week left until the end of Industry Collaboration everyone! We hope you've been enjoying these last few gatherings and recaps. As we look toward the next week and the near future we should always look back to see what we've accomplished and how far we've come. So before we get into this week's recap, make sure you've had a chance to take a peek at the others you might've missed! With that, let's dive in.

One week left until the end of Industry Collaboration everyone! We hope you’ve been enjoying these last few gatherings and recaps. As we look toward the next week and the near future we should always look back to see what we’ve accomplished and how far we’ve come. So before we get into this week’s recap, make sure you’ve had a chance to take a peek at the others you might’ve missed! With that, let’s dive in.

Cortex Innovation Community returned for their monthly, Starting From Square One initiative bringing along the amazing Lakesha Mathis, Director of Greater St. Louis Inc., and Daffney Moore, Chief of Staff for The St. Louis Development Corporation. Both of these women spoke about the efforts they are doing in our community today and how a relationship with Square One has bolstered the skills and connections they used on a day-to-day basis in these ventures.

Another monthly partner of ours, Brandon Wilkes, Executive Director of St. Louis Reconciliation Network continues to connect our community with leaders in the Nonprofit space. This week, he highlighted the work being done by Lucas RougglyFounder of LOVEtheLOU, a nonprofit committed to helping North St. Louis in a plethora of different restorative actions and gatherings.

Lastly, we had Michael Moorhem Founder & Owner of WamBam Supply Engineering Inc., speak about the importance and opportunity of creating your own E-Commerce supply chain as opposed to relying on fulfillment warehouses. Michael showed off the dynamics of different sales channels with e-commerce, how to best position service providers, and how to create valued fulfillment partnerships.

And that concludes our gathering everyone! Make sure to keep an eye out because next week we will be hosting Balsa’s Annual Awards Ceremony! We hope to have your help in celebrating the finalist’s amazing work and congregating them on the success they’ve had through the program! See you there everyone!
