Welcome back to another edition of our VenCaf Recap everyone! This edition dives into March programming of Corporate & Community Partners which had an amazing lineup from our foundational friends over at Cortex, St. Louis Reconciliation Network, and TechSTL! Let’s get into what you might’ve missed.
Kicking things off our great friends over at Cortex once again hosted, Starting From Square One however this time they decided to bring community innovator, new event space entrepreneur and fan-favorite, Keisha Mabry Haymore with Grow With Google! Keisha led a fantastic session on how to expand the reach of your business through SEO and Google’s capabilities.
Following Keisha, we were graced with the decisions of St. Louis Reconciliation Network as their Director, Brandon Wilkes showcased Bridge Bread Bakery. A non-profit initiative that employs individuals experiencing homelessness and gives them marketable skills and reliable employment. Bridge Bread’s own Rachel Hensold joined us to go more in-depth about this initiative and how you can help!
Finally, you know her, and you love her programming, TechSTL’s Emily Hemingway joined us once again with her affinity group FoundHER: AmbitiousAF. Which aims to provide a safe space for women entrepreneurs to network, collide and share their experiences from the frontlines of business.
With all of this programming it’s hard to forget that these partners have been with us through thick and thin since our return last year and we appreciate each and everyone of their collaborative efforts in making “Community & Corporate Partnerships” be as successful as it is. Thank you!
To wrap up, you all know, coming up is Cardinals Opening Day! Practically a holiday here in St. Louis! To celebrate, Venture Café will be putting the game up on the big screen, if you didn’t have plans, plan to come to us! Hopefully we’ll see you there when the first pitch is thrown, until then VenCaf community!
