Organic, collaborative connections. That’s what we strive to create here at Venture Cafe. Serendipitous Collions is one way to help nurture the environment where they can indeed happen. Welcome to VenCaf Recap, let’s get into what you might’ve missed at last’s Gathering!
Kicking us off, is a long-time Venture Cafe attendee and community veteran, Mary Scott. Mary is THE Resource Wrangler at Business Riff. Her knowledge helps new startups and entrepreneurs answer questions they didn’t even know they had just yet. Her presentation “Where Do Startups Start?” allows community members to tap into her insight as a nexus point for startups to well, START, around.
Alongside Mary, our very own Ebbi Young, Program Coordinator here at Venture Cafe, helped two members of our community talk more about their business. Aaron Munzer & Stefano Chavez were both asked about their business Model City Solutions. Both spoke to the fact that Venture Cafe was the primer for their business to start, and that its inception aims to tackle community financial planning and economic development strategy consulting via geospatial analysis. As you can see, anyone can create innovation from within Venture Cafe!
Finally, Michael Fritzius of podcastify.me returned to us to present his “Podhack Your Business Through Podcasting” session. It showcased how to wrap a podcast around your business, idea, or innovation. Designed from the ground up to attract your ideal client profile to have a great conversation with you, and you make it easy for them to share your show to their network. Before long, you’ll have an ecosystem of the right people who are becoming raving fans–and paying customers. Podcasting has become a surefire and new-age way to connect with your clientele.
That is going to wrap it up for this VenCaf Recap. We hope you’ll keep an eye on our website and socials, as this month is jam-packed with amazing content! We hope to see you next time at Community Activations!
