This Gathering was meant to appeal to both sides of that aisle by highlighting that "Starting" can have just as many challenges and solutions as "Investing" or "Growing". Happy Friday VenCaf Community! We hope you've been well, and are enjoying the great weather this weekend! This past Thursday offered a virtual program as our Director was in Canada as a Delegate of the Ontario Province! We co-hosted the session Winning At Equity Crowdfunding with Venture Café Miami & Venture Café Monterrey! This session was led by Michael Burtov - inventor, speaker, and author of the Evergreen Startup! Michael detailed his success in utilizing a crowdfunding startup metric to lead businesses in becoming mature, million dollar ventures!

Happy Juneteenth, everyone! Being part of the new team at Venture Café means this was OUR first Juneteenth Celebration! We were thrilled to host this Gathering, and proud of the community response. Those who are aware of Juneteenth understand its significance in heavily Black populated cities like in St. Louis. For those who were not familiar with Juneteenth, we wanted to spotlight the individuals and organizations doing incredible work in their respective industries and in our community. It was a great event that showcased Black culture, influence, and creation. We had snacks, games, engaging sessions, and good vibes! Let's get into what you might've missed!
