MEDLaunch STL is a biomedical incubator out of the collaboration between the Saint Louis University Chaifetz School of Business, College of Science and Engineering, College for Public Health and Social Justice, School of Medicine, and School of Law. The student-run program is dedicated to providing a safe and educational environment for students across all campuses and schools to tackle problems that professionals in healthcare or adjacent industries have submitted to us.
Our session this evening will focus on the interdisciplinary nature of our teams. Every year, we guide 5-8 teams of approximately 5-6 students through an entrepreneurship curriculum, teaching participants about the importance of developing a business plan, bridging their visions with their customers, building minimum viable products, and more. Some teams have also filed for provisional patents and/or formed registered companies in Missouri. Our panelists today are or were a part of a MEDLaunch team in the last few years, and they will be sharing their experiences. They come from a variety of backgrounds, and they have contributed to their teams and the organization in different ways.
Hosted at CIC St. Louis at 4240 Duncan Ave #200, St. Louis, MO 63110, United States – just follow the Venture Café signage. Be sure to check in 15 minutes before your desired sessions start, to make sure you can find your way and grab a drink.
