This session will provide an overview of the tech/ innovation landscape in Ontario, profiling the organizations driving creativity, growth, and opportunity across the sector. It will demonstrate why Ontario is a superior destination for tech / innovation sector investment and partnerships. It will also outline support for investment, trade, and partnerships in this sector that is offered by the Ontario government and our regional / municipal economic development partners.

6:30 - 7:00pm: Québec -A fertile ground for innovation in AI and Agtech

Economic development agencies Invest Québec International and Montréal International will demonstrate why homegrown and foreign innovators have chosen Quebec. Montreal, is home to the world's largest academic research lab in deep and reinforcement learning with over 900 researchers. The city also has been ranked the best university city in the Americas for 2022, counting over 200K students. Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and many more have established Ai R&D teams here!
