Bob Stergos is Co-Founder and Executive Director of a 501c3 nonprofit, A Seat at the Table.
The mission of A Seat at the Table is to “provide residential mentoring and community resources in a Christian family environment for at-risk and under-resourced 18 to 25-year olds”.
While the organization has only been in existence for the past 3 years, Bob and his wife Chrissy, a counselor at Chesterfield Counseling Associates, have previously invited 5 such young men to live with their 4 sons by birth…for periods of 3 to 10 years each.
Through A Seat at the Table, they now are recruiting, training and resourcing other like-minded families to similarly invite nominated and selected young people from Partner Youth Organizations and area Pastors.
Bob’s experience as a high school English & Journalism teacher, coach, long-time Kids and Youth ministry volunteer, along with his subsequent sales, marketing and business networking background, including 15 years at Maritz, has prepared him well for his role as Executive Director.
