Matthew Modica is a servant leader who holds 25 years experience in the Information Security and Technology fields at multiple Fortune 1000 companies across the financial services, healthcare and data services industries. Modica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and has served on multiple non-profit and customer advisory Boards such as the St. Louis CISO Board, Securonix Advisory Board and Autism Speaks Heartland Board and governing body member of the Evanta STL CXO Summit. Modica is passionate about preparing the next generation to serve in Cybersecurity and STEM related roles. He is an adjunct professor for Cybersecurity related courses in the McKelvey School of Engineering and also serves on the cybersecurity advisory committee at Washington University in St. Louis. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Modica and his wife, Linda, live in Imperial, MO and have two children – one that recently graduated from MST and another that is currently enrolled at MST. The Modica’s are passionate about the Arts in their community regularly attending and participating in a variety of events. Additionally, Modica sits on the Autism Speaks Executive Leadership Council (Heartland Segment) whose mission is to raise funds to support research and services for those on the Autism spectrum.
