Raven Whitener is a Marketing, Public Relations specialist and content creator in St. Louis, MO. She was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. with a few years spent in Orange County, California in her early childhood. Since moving back to St. Louis in 2010 she finished high school and attended Webster University where she majored in Media Communications, with a Public Relations minor and Event Planning emphasis. Raven began her career in 2016 at Radio One St. Louis as the Promotions and Marketing Coordinator for Hot 104.1 and 95.5 and after 3 years moved forward with her career at United Way of Greater St. Louis as an Events Specialist. Currently, Raven is the Director of the St. Louis American Foundation and Special Events where she produces all the organizations signature events, digital media presence, donor relations and more. In addition to her full-time position with the St. Louis American, she also has her own media consulting company, RAO Digital Marketing Agency, which is an acronym for Raven Ashley Online, in which she specializes in brand and image consulting, social media marketing and public relations. Through her company, Raven serves as the Public Relations Director for LEVELS Nigerian Cuisine and has numerous project-based clients around the St. Louis region. She is the co-producer and co-host of The Fix with Niddy Gritty on 100.3 The Beat and has co-created the Young Business Professionals of St. Louis alongside 3 other business partners, that has grown to over 500 attendees in the last year. Raven prides herself on making St. Louis a better place to work and play while also utilizing her brand and likeness to spread awareness to other millennials and those younger than her that it's possible to be all the things you want to be despite where you've come from or challenges you've endured.
