Rishi Masalia is the VP of Biotechnology at Running Tide an ocean health company trying to rebalance the carbon cycle and revitalize coastal communities through carbon removal.  Rishi is the driving force behind placing the biotech arm of this ocean-based company here in St Louis. He spends most of his professional life advocating for climate tech and building science programs around up-and-coming crops at small to medium sized biotech startups. Outside of this, Rishi is heavily involved in numerous scientific societies - advocating for graduate student and postdoc voices and representation in those spaces. In his spare time, Rishi continues his large-scale science communication efforts trying to bring the joy of AgTech and Plant Sciences to the general public.
