Stacey Fowler has more than twenty years of talent management, workforce development, policy and procedure development, contractual negotiation, and compliance implementation. Stacey is SVP, Minority & Small Business Empowerment with St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC). She previously served as the former minority owned business (MBE) and women owned businesses (WBE) Contract Compliance Manager with SLDC and managed the day-to-day operations while building relationships with key community leaders, developers, and MBE and WBE enterprises. She is the former Director of Workforce Development for the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) which is the City of St. Louis’ Workforce Development Agency. Throughout her career, Stacey has been a steadfast champion of applying best practices in developing performance-based workforce development strategies which produce measurable results that meet Human Capital challenges in employee engagement, growth, and retention. Stacey served three terms as 2nd Ward Alderperson for the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri and advocates for the disenfranchised and underrepresented communities through volunteerism and advocacy. She is an owner-member of the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers-Diversity Committee and received her Certified Compliance Administrator from the American Contract Compliance Association. Ms. Fowler graduated from the University of Missouri (Columbia) with a BA in Women’s Studies where she also studied, Home Economics Journalism and Graphic Design. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri.
