Hello, I’m Alex Seay Communications Manager @ LinkedIn in the Venture Cafe St. Louis-community! I’m working on meeting more professionals in the Tech space.
I do what I do because I’ve always been passionate about communications. I’m thankful to have the opportunity to use my skill set to help others succeed at work and have all the information they need to achieve their goals. I’m essentially at the intersection of purpose and passion and it’s become increasingly important for me to not only be good at what I do but to make a meaningful impact while doing it.
As a visitor at Venture Café I’d like to recommend first time visitors to As a native St. Louisan, I was excited to discover Venture Café and the attendees of the networking events. I don’t think our city nor Venture Café are getting enough credit for the innovative work that’s being done here and the role that Venture Cafe is playing in curating the space.
What I’m doing is awesome because The Linkedin platform’s goal is to create economic opportunity for the global workforce. With millions of people around the world using LinkedIn to reach their professional goals, there’s a lot of value around ensuring our company’s brand ambassadors, our employees, have all of the information they need to do their jobs well and to be inspired and engaged.
